Kurdlar soni 30 dan 45 million gacha ekani taxmin qilinmoqda.^[1][2] Kurdlarning aksariyati bugungi kunda Eron Kurdistoni, Iroq Kurdistoni, Turkiya Kurdistoni va Suriya Kurdistoni o'rtasida bo'lingan Kurdistonda yashaydi .^[3]

Kurd diasporasi va Qizil Kurdistonda ham ko'plab kurdlar bor.^[4][5]
